Mental Health Support

"This journey can fee— overwhelming." uncertain." joyful." complex" lonely." heavy." life-changing." |

The transition into parenthood is often painted as a joyous and fulfilling time, but for many, it comes with a wave of unexpected emotions, challenges, and mental health struggles. Whether you’re trying to conceive, pregnant, or adjusting to life after birth, the perinatal period can feel overwhelming. You may be facing anxiety, mood swings, guilt, exhaustion, intrusive thoughts, or a deep sense of disconnection from yourself and others. These experiences are more common than we talk abou, and they deserve to be met with support, not silence.

You might be thinking…

    • “I should be happy, but I feel completely numb.”
    • “Why can’t I bond with my baby the way others do?”
    • “I feel like I’m failing at something everyone else makes look easy.”
    • “I love my baby, but I miss who I used to be.”
    • “I’m exhausted, anxious, and on edge all the time.”
    • “No one really understands what I’m going through.”

If any of this sounds familiar, you’re not alone, and you don’t have to keep navigating it alone either.

How I Can Support You

As a counsellor with experience in perinatal mental health, I create a compassionate and non-judgmental space where you can bring all the parts of your experience, the joy, the fear, the grief, the uncertainty. Together, we’ll explore your emotions, unpack unrealistic expectations, and make sense of the complex identity shifts that can come with becoming a parent.

I use an integrative approach, drawing from evidence-based practices like CBT, DBT, and mindfulness to help you develop practical tools, build emotional resilience, and feel more grounded in your role, however it may look for you.

Whether you’re dealing with postpartum depression, anxiety, birth trauma, or just need someone to talk to, you’re not alone. You deserve support tailored to your unique journey.
